Entropy Bounds in R× S3 Geometries

چکیده
Exact calculations are given for the Casimir energy for various fields in R×S3 geometry. The Green’s function method naturally gives a result in a form convenient in the high-temperature limit, while the statistical mechanical approach gives a form convenient for low temperatures. The equivalence of these two representations is demonstrated. Some discrepancies with previous work are noted. In no case, even for N = 4 SUSY, is the ratio of entropy to energy found to be bounded. This deviation, however, occurs for low temperature, where the equilibrium approach may not be relevant. The same methods are used to calculate the energy and free energy for the TE modes in a half-Einstein universe bounded by a perfectly conducting 2sphere.

Some properties of the parametric relative operator entropy
The notion of entropy was introduced by Clausius in 1850, and some of the main steps towards the consolidation of the concept were taken by Boltzmann and Gibbs. Since then several extensions and reformulations have been developed in various disciplines with motivations and applications in different subjects, such as statistical mechanics, information theory, and dynamical systems. Fujii and Kam...
متن کاملBounds on $m_r(2,29)$
An $(n, r)$-arc is a set of $n$ points of a projective plane such that some $r$, but no $r+1$ of them, are collinear. The maximum size of an $(n, r)$-arc in PG(2, q) is denoted by $m_r(2,q)$. In this paper thirteen new $(n, r)$-arc in PG(2,,29) and a table with the best known lower and upper bounds on $m_r(2,29)$ are presented. The results are obtained by non-exhaustive local computer search.

In [5] W. P. Thurston formulated a geometrization conjecture for three-manifolds which states that every compact orientable three-manifold has a canonical decomposition into pieces, each of which admits a canonical geometric structure from among the 8 maximal simply connected homogeneous Riemannian 3-geometries E3, H3, S3, S2 ×R, H2 × R, ̃ SL(2,R), Nil and Sol. Obviously, the Poincaré conjecture...
متن کاملA note on inequalities for Tsallis relative operator entropy
In this short note, we present some inequalities for relative operator entropy which are generalizations of some results obtained by Zou [Operator inequalities associated with Tsallis relative operator entropy, {em Math. Inequal. Appl.} {18} (2015), no. 2, 401--406]. Meanwhile, we also show some new lower and upper bounds for relative operator entropy and Tsallis relative o...
متن کاملSome Results on Weighted Cumulative Entropy
Considering Rao et al. (2004) and Di Crescenzo and Longobardi (2009) studies, Misagh et al. (2011) proposed a weighted information which is based on the cumulative entropy called Weighted Cumulative Entropy (WCE). The above-mentioned model is a Shiftdependent Uncertainty Measure. In this paper, we examine some of the properties of WCE and obtain some bounds for that. In order to ...
